Sherwood Memorial Park's Run for Donuts 5K and Fun Run
The event takes place at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA on November 7, 2026. It includes a 5K run and a 1.5 mile fun run using the park paths. The event benefits Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia.

- 3.1 Miles - Run for Donuts 5K
- 1.5 Miles - Run for Donuts Fun Run
All participants receive a full-size donut at the finish line. 5K finishers receive a finisher medal. Fun Run finishers receive a finisher button. Both 5K and Fun Run participants are offered a knit beanie hat; beanies are guaranteed for entries received before September 30 and otherwise provided while supplies last, first come first serve.
Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers. The 5K also awards the top three male and female finishers in each age category: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
