Run for Donuts 5K
Run for Donuts Fun Run

The course utilizes the paths within Sherwood Memorial Park. The 5K race involves completing the course twice, while the Fun Run covers the course one time.

Participant Perks & Activities

All participants receive a donut at the finish line. A costume contest with a donut or sprinkle color theme is part of the event. Registrants for the 5K receive a knit beanie hat and a finisher medal. Fun Run participants receive a knit beanie hat. Beanies are guaranteed for entries received prior to September 30.

Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers in the 5K. Additional awards go to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories.

Practical Information

Parking is available along Lynchburg Turnpike and at the Salem YMCA. The event is held rain or shine. Early registration pricing ends on September 30, and standard registration prices increase after October 5, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
