The Roanoke Valley Paralegal Association will host the seventh annual Spilman Thomas & Battle Jaunt for Justice 5K on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at River's Edge Sports Complex - North.

The event benefits The Legal Aid Society of the Roanoke Valley (LASRV). LASRV provides free legal services to qualified residents of Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem City, Botetourt, Craig, Bedford, and Franklin Counties.
Online registration closes September 29. 5K registration fees are listed as a $30.00 race fee plus a $2.50 signup fee, with a later price of $36.00. The kids' 0.5K fee is $10.00. Event T-shirts are included for registrations completed by September 18.
Both runners and walkers are welcome. An untimed kids' run will take place before the 5K. Medals will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 9 & under; 10 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70+.
The event program includes a medal award ceremony, post-race refreshments, and a raffle prize drawing. Race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026 at Runabout Sports Roanoke.
