Event overview
The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon takes place April 18-19, 2026 in Roanoke, Virginia. The marathon course runs along the Blue Ridge Parkway and includes over 7,430 ft of elevation change. Proceeds from the event benefit the Blue Ridge Parkway and a dozen local charities. The event is owned and operated by the Roanoke Outside Foundation, an organization that promotes outdoor activity and environmental stewardship in the Virginia Blue Ridge region. Finishers receive medals and shirts, and a finish festival in downtown Roanoke includes local craft beer.
