What to expect from a Yorkshire 5k
The city 5Ks are flat and measured, with big fields that include Couch to 5K graduates from the club beginners' groups and a competitive front pack. Sheffield's races climb, Bradford and Huddersfield sit in the Pennine foothills, and any 5K billed as a trail run on the Moors will have more ascent than the distance suggests.
