Normanby Hall Adventure Race
The Normanby Hall Adventure Race is an obstacle event held at Normanby Hall Country Park on 4 April 2027. The course runs around a cross country horse course and includes water, mud, sand, crawl nets and numerous horse jumps. The route may feature hills and a swamp area; exact course details depend on weather and how the pony club lays out the obstacles.
Entry options and limits are as follows:
- 5 km: entry £22.50, ages 12 and up, capacity 200
- 10 km: entry £24.50, ages 16 and up, capacity 300
- Junior Bale Jumper: entry £7.00, ages 4 to 11, capacity 100
A combined "Do both" option costs £41 and includes a special trophy; capacity for the double entry is 50. All entry prices include park entry for the day. There are no entries on the day.
Participants receive a medal and a cake; event t-shirts are optional and sold separately. Profits from clothing sales support free charity spots, donations to partners, and community coaching or venue hire. The event names Hope House Scunthorpe as its 2027 charity partner and also donates to the Scunthorpe & District Pony Club Charity. This is the event's 12th year.
