The event
The Normanby Hall Adventure Race takes place on 29 March 2026 at Normanby Hall Country Park, Normanby, Scunthorpe, DN15 9HU. The event uses the park's cross country horse course and features obstacles such as water, mud, sand, crawl nets, horse jumps, small hills and a swamp. The event supports the Scunthorpe & District Pony Club Charity. Clothing sales profits are used to fund free spots for charity partners, donations, free coaching sessions or community venue hire.

Entry prices listed are: 5km £22.50 (ages 12 and up), 10km £24.50 (ages 16 and up). A combined option to do both distances is £41 and includes a special trophy; this option is limited to 50 places. All entry prices include park entry for the day. Capacities given are 400 for the 5km, 400 for the 10km, 50 for the double option, and 150 for the junior event.
There is a junior "Bale Jumper" run for ages 4 to 11. Juniors receive a medal and sweets at the finish. The organiser states that there are no entries on the day. The organiser also provides a medal and cake for participants, with an optional event t-shirt available. Tickets are shown as currently sold out.
