Normanby Hall Adventure Race
The Normanby Hall Adventure Race takes place on 4 April 2027 at Normanby Hall Country Park. The event is an obstacle run held around a cross country horse course with features such as water, mud, sand, crawl nets and horse jumps. The course may include small hills and occasional swampy sections depending on weather and course layout.
Distances and entry details:
- 5 km single loop; ages 12+; entry £22.50; capacity 200.
- 10 km two laps; ages 16+; entry £24.50; capacity 300.
- Junior Bale Jumper mini run; ages 4-11; entry £7; capacity 100.
- Do both run 5 km then 10 km; entry £41; capacity 50.
All entry prices include park admission for the day. Juniors receive a medal and sweets at the finish. All participants receive a medal and cake. The Do Both option includes a special trophy and requires completion of the first 5 km within one hour fifteen minutes to be eligible to start the 10 km wave. There are no entries on the day for any category.
T-shirt purchases are optional and each year features a different design. Profits from clothing sales support charity partners, free charity places, free coaching sessions and community venue hire. The event donates directly to the Scunthorpe & District Pony Club Charity to support upkeep of the horse course. Athlete information materials are provided to entrants before the event.
