The Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2026
The event takes place on 29 March 2026 at Normanby Hall Country Park in Normanby, Scunthorpe. It is organised by Curly's Athletes LTD and is the event's 11th year. Entry includes park access for the day.
- 5 km - ages 12 and up, £22.50, capacity 400
- 10 km - ages 16 and up, £24.50, capacity 400
- Do both - £41, limited to 50 spots (includes a special trophy)
- Junior mini run - ages 4-11, capacity 150
Course, format and participant information
The route uses the cross country horse course. Features include water, mud, sand, crawl nets, many horse jumps, some small hills and a swamp. The 5 km is a single loop of the main course. The 10 km is two laps of the same course. For the combined "do it twice" option, entrants must complete the first 5 km within one hour and fifteen minutes to return for the second race.
All juniors in the mini bale-jumper receive a medal and sweets. All participants receive cake and a medal. Event t-shirts are optional and sold separately; profits from clothing sales support charity places, donations, free coaching and community venue hire.
