Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2026
The Normanby Hall Adventure Race is an obstacle running event held at Normanby Hall Country Park in Normanby, Scunthorpe. The course uses the cross-country horse circuit and includes water, mud, sand, crawl nets and multiple horse jumps. The route can feature small hills and a swamp; exact conditions depend on weather.
Race options on the day include:
- 5km loop, new for 2026, open to ages 12 and up.
- 10km classic two-lap option, open to ages 16 and up.
- Junior bale jumper run for ages 4 to 11.
Entry fees listed for 2026 are £22.50 for the 5km, £24.50 for the 10km, and £7.00 for the junior bale jumper. A combined entry for both adult distances is offered with a limited special trophy for 50 double entries. All entry prices include admission to the park for the day. Stated capacities are 400 places for each adult distance, 150 for juniors, and 50 for the double option. Ticket sales are shown as closing on 28 March 2025.
Participants receive a medal and cake; juniors receive a medal and sweets. Event t-shirts are optional and proceeds from clothing sales support charity partners, free coaching sessions and community venue hire.
