Race for Life York 5k
Race for Life York is a charity 5k event at The Knavesmire, York Racecourse (YO23 1EX). The event is open to participants aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 is in place and the listed entry fee is £15.99.
The course and event site are predominantly on grass, with a mix of surfaced and trail paths. Start and finish lines are on grass near the racecourse. The route is mostly flat but includes some uphill and downhill gradients. An accessible route is available and the organisers have assessed the route as wheelchair accessible with assistance.

On-site facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs, wheelchair access and parking. Bag drop and showers are not available. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Event managers are trained Dementia Friends.
Travel information notes free event parking on the racecourse accessed via Knavesmire Road, with drop-off and stewarded access; walking distances from parking are given as approximately 150–300 m on grass depending on parking area. Blue Badge parking and volunteer parking are provided. The nearest train station is York, about 1.5 miles away. There are no event bike racks but nearby racks are on Loverose Way. Electric vehicle charging is available at eVolt on Nunnery Lane.
