Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half
Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half is a weekday trail event around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs. It offers night-time running on marked laps with a head torch required as part of the kit.
Distances:
- Half Marathon: two laps around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
- 10 km: one lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
- 5 km: one lap of Swinsty Reservoir.
The event has a maximum of 150 entrants and a minimum age of 16. Entries open 1 July 2026 and close 22 March 2027. The published entry fee is £15. Registration is at the Punk Panther Gazebo by the toilet block in Swinsty Moor Car Park; this car park is pay and display, £3 for six hours, card only.
Course information notes climbs of approximately 800 ft, 400 ft, and 200 ft for the respective distances. The course will not be taped. Water is available at the Punk Panther Gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. Toilets are in the car park. The finish is at the edge of the woods before crossing the road back to the car park, and every finisher receives a medal.
Required kit includes a head torch and a mobile phone with the organiser contact stored and switched on. A short race brief is given at registration and final instructions will be emailed before the event. Results and course records are published online.
