Wear Your Wings is a run and walk offering a 5K walking distance on the College of Central Florida campus in Ocala. Walkers can use the event virtual race app to track their route and upload verified times.
Walkers have a 1 Mile walking only option starting at Liberty Park, 268 N Apopka Ave in Inverness, held alongside the 5K races. The route is fast, flat and fully paved on the Withlacoochee Trail with post event food and drinks.
February 2027
Walkers follow a 5 mile loop from the pavilion at Whispering Pines City Park on mixed trails over packed sand. An aid station at start/finish provides food and drinks; completing 2 loops (10 miles) earns a finisher award.
Walkers follow the 3.1 Miles trail style course at Marion County Airport amid airport sights and sounds. Surfaces include pavement, asphalt, gravel and uneven terrain, so walkers are advised to use caution and wear appropriate footwear.
