Sleigh the Day 5K & 10K Trail Race
Sleigh the Day is a Christmas themed trail race held on December 5, 2026, at Silver Springs State Park in Silver Springs, Florida. The event offers off-road running through the park's natural landscape and shaded forest paths, with seasonal decorations and participants often wearing Santa hats, ugly sweaters, or other holiday costumes.
Two distances are available:
- 5K Trail Run (3.1 Miles)
- 10K Trail Run (6.2 Miles)
Race entries include race shirts by distance: 10K participants receive a long sleeve shirt and 5K participants receive a short sleeve shirt. Every finisher receives a holiday finisher medal, and age group awards are presented to top finishers in both races. Holiday costumes are highly encouraged.
