Walkers can enter the Walking Half Marathon, a scenic closed road route around St Albans from Verulamium Park through country lanes. Walking entrants must finish within 5 hours and receive the same half marathon medal and an ice lolly at the fini..
Walkers can choose 50km, 25km or 10K routes from Cromer basecamp along the Norfolk coast and Weavers Way, on a flat route past woodland, cliffs and sandy beaches. Rest stops about every 12.5km with food and medical aid.
July 2027
Walkers can choose 10k, 3k or 5k routes at Hylands Park, starting and finishing on the open grass behind Flint Cottage, mostly on grassy undulating terrain with some gravel and woodland and toilets and refreshments available.
The event offers a 5k walking course at Lower Castle Park, start and finish on grass by the bowling green, mainly on grass and paths with some inclines; ground may be soft near the river and wheelchair access may require assistance.
