North Norfolk 50
The North Norfolk 50 is an Ultra Challenge event based at Cromer Hall on the Norfolk coast. The main route follows the Weavers Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path through varied landscapes, National Trust estates, woodland, and coastal cliffs and beaches. The route passes North Walsham around halfway and reaches the seaside village of Mundesley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, finishing back in Cromer.
Options include multiple distances:
- 50 km
- 25 km
- 10 km
Participants may walk, jog, or run, and there are solo and team options as well as Ultra March and Trailblazerz choices. The event provides marquee rest stops approximately every 12.5 km with major stops about every 25 km, catering, medical and massage teams, and a fully signed route with GPS tracking through an event app. Timing is recorded at rest stops and progress is monitored by a control room.
Event services listed for participants include camping, parking, shuttle transfers to local stations and key venues, and finish-line items such as a finisher T-shirt, medal, and a glass of fizz.
