Chelmsford Race for Life at Hylands Park
This Race for Life event takes place at Hylands Park, Greenbury Way, Chelmsford, CM2 8FS on Sunday 19 July 2026. It is open to participants aged 16 and over. The event lists a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
Distances available:
- 10k - double lap of the 5k route on grass.
- 5k - single lap on grass with slight inclines.
- 3k
The course is fully contained within the park. Start and finish are on open grass behind Flint Cottage, with the finish opposite the start. The surface is grass with some slight inclines and undulating sections. The 10k uses two laps of the 5k route.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets, parking, and dogs are allowed. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available. Blue badge parking is accessed via the Hylands House entrance. A designated free car park for the event is accessed via Greenbury Way. First Bus service 351 stops outside Hylands Park and Chelmsford railway station is about 3.5 miles away. There are approximately 20 cycle spaces in the main car park and a few by the visitor centre.
