The ATW St Albans Half Marathon takes place on 14 June 2026 at Verulamium Park, St Albans AL1 2DL. The event is organised by Active Training World (ATW). It is community focused and supports local causes; in 2025 £1 from every entry was donated to the upkeep of Abbey View Running Track, and the event will support the track again in 2026. The event lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a partner charity. A paid VIP area is available and funds from VIP tickets contribute to the event charity donations. Age and timing rules include: the 10K is open to entrants aged 15 and over; the 5K is open to entrants aged 11 and over; half marathon and walking/wheelchair entries are open from age 17. Running entrants must complete the half marathon in 3 hrs 15 mins; wheelchair entrants in 3 hrs 30 mins; walking entrants in 5 hrs. The 5K has a 55-minute completion requirement; the 10K has no time limit. The Fun Run is not chip-timed; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult with their own ticket. Teams can enter the SA Law Challenge, where the first three finishers per team count in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. Prices for specific entries are listed between £11 and £38.
