Event overview
The ATW St Albans Half Marathon will take place at Verulamium Park, St Albans on 14 June 2026. The event is organised by ATW, a national events company established in 2011. It is community focused and supports local causes. In 2025, £1 from every entry was donated to the upkeep of St Albans' Abbey View Running Track, and the event will support the track again in 2026. The event also lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a partner charity.

The Half Marathon and wheelchair course run on closed roads through the country lanes of St Albans and include some hills. Running entrants must be able to complete the half marathon course in 3 hours 15 minutes. Wheelchair entrants must be able to complete the course in 3 hours 30 minutes. The Walking Half entrants must be able to complete the route in 5 hours; walkers receive a half marathon medal and an ice lolly at the finish.
The closed-road 10K is open to people aged over 15 and has no time limit. The 5K is open to people aged over 11 and has a course time limit of 55 minutes. The Family Fun Run is open to all ages; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult with their own ticket. The Fun Run is not chip-timed and finishes on the running track home straight.
