HOPE's 16th Annual Sham Rock N Run 5k
HOPE's 16th Annual Sham Rock N Run 5k takes place on March 6, 2027 in Oviedo, Florida at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765. The event includes in-person and virtual options, a nonprofit "Snooze for HOPE" entry, and a free Lil' Leprechaun Lap for children under 10.

- Main event: 3.1 Miles (in-person 5K)
- Virtual 5K: 3.1 Miles
- Lil' Leprechaun Lap: short distances by age group for children under 10
Registration fees listed in the event materials are $30 for the in-person 5K, $40 for virtual and Snooze entries, and free for the Lil' Leprechaun Lap. Registration windows and deadlines vary by event. The first 700 registrants receive a performance T-shirt, finisher's medal, and a custom race bib. T-shirt sizes are adult sizes only and are not guaranteed after January 23, 2027.
Race-day amenities and policies include free on-site parking, race bags containing shirts and 5K items, and a request that participants fill and return race bags with non-perishable food for the event food pantry. Children in strollers may attend free; all strollers and baby joggers must start at the back of the pack. For safety, no skates, skateboards, bikes, or non-service animals are allowed on the racecourse.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
