The Ritz-Carlton Grande Labor Day Weekend 5K & Yoga Master Class
The event is a family walk or fun run held on the back nine of an 18-hole championship golf course at Grande Lakes resort. The running portion covers a 5K loop on course terrain inspired by golf course designer Greg Norman.
Participants receive an exclusive T-shirt and medal and a special goodie bag. Post-run offerings include champagne or mimosas, an assortment of healthy snacks, and on-site stretching and massage services provided by resort therapists using Theragun. There is also a raffle with prizes such as a complimentary massage, a facial, a manicure or pedicure, and spa gift bags.
A restorative yoga master class for runners follows the run. The class emphasizes deep stretching, breathwork, and recovery, with focus on the hips, hamstrings, and lower back, and closes with a grounding sound bowl meditation.
Event logistics note that packet pick-up and event check-in occur on race morning, with check-in located on the Valencia Courtyard adjacent to the Spa. Self-parking is complimentary; valet parking is available for a $20 fee at either The Ritz-Carlton or JW Marriott.
