Race Overview
The US Road Running event in DeBary takes place at Gemini Springs Park. Participants run on a concrete course with distances including 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon. All participants must complete their registration through RunSignup before arriving, as no on-site registration is available for this event.
Course Information
The races are held on out-and-back routes within the park grounds. The course surface is entirely concrete. Depending on the chosen distance, runners will complete a specific number of laps:
- 5K: One lap of the out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of the out-and-back course.
There is a maximum time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all event distances.
Logistics
The event is based at the O.K. Corral shelter, which serves as the location for check-in, bib pick-up, and the start and finish lines. To reach the site, entrants should enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive and park in the West Parking loop. If that area is full, additional parking is available in the East Parking section. Restrooms are located near the playground, situated on the opposite side of the West Parking area from the shelter. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race, beginning 30 minutes before the scheduled start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
