Event Overview
The US Road Running event in DeBary takes place at Gemini Springs Park. This athletic gathering features three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All events are held on a concrete surface. The race courses are designed as out-and-back loops. For the 5K and 10K, the course length is approximately 1.56 miles one way. 5K participants complete this out-and-back circuit once, while 10K participants complete it twice. The Half Marathon utilizes a 1.64-mile out-and-back route, which requires participants to complete the loop four times.
Logistics and Location
The event operations, including check-in, bib pick-up, and the start and finish lines, are located at the O.K. Corral shelter within Gemini Springs Park. Participants can access the park from Dirksen Drive and utilize the West Parking loop near the playground. If the primary parking area is full, additional parking is available in the East Parking section. Restroom facilities are positioned near the West Parking area, past the playground.
Registration is required through the designated online platform prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals are awarded upon completion of the race.
