Wolfson Children's Challenge : January 31, 2026
The 17th annual Wolfson Children's Challenge takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL. The event centre is the Winston YMCA at 221 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville 32202. The race program includes two distances and a no-shirt option.

Course, teams and awards
The 5K route crosses the Acosta and Fuller Warren Bridges and runs along the St. Johns River. The course passes the hospital front entrance for a designated "Mission Moment" where patients and team members may watch from windows. Teams run together and each individual time is used to calculate the team time. Team scoring uses the top five times; at least two of those times must be from female team members. Awards are given to overall top three men and women and to age groups. Age-group categories span from 0-14 up to 70 plus. The top three teams and the largest team are also recognized.
Event logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled at Subaru of Jacksonville and at the Winston YMCA in the days before the race, with race-day pickup available at the venue. Parking is available at nearby lots on Riverside Ave. A Dunkin’ Donuts cruiser will be on site. Lost and found is at the registration tent; items are held for 30 days then donated.
