Wolfson Children's Challenge 5K and Mile
The event is staged at VyStar Ballpark, 301 A Philip Randolph Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, on January 30, 2027. It features a chip timed 5K run and a one mile fun run or walk. The course starts and finishes at the ballpark and runners finish in Centerfield Plaza.
All entrants receive a shirt. Medals are awarded to all finishers in both the 5K and the one mile. The 5K includes overall, age group, and team awards. The one mile is a fun run and is not individually timed and will not have awards.
A team competition is part of the 5K. Teams may include unlimited members and the top five finishers from each team are used for scoring. For the one mile, teams can be created but team timing is not applied.
Packets are available for pickup at selected 1st Place Sports locations on January 28 and January 29; unclaimed packets will be moved to the race site for day of event pickup. Post race activities take place at the venue. A course map is provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
