UF Health Jacksonville Turkey Trot 5K

UF Health Jacksonville's 12th Annual Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Atlantic Beach, Florida at the Dune House Hotel & Spa, 1 Ocean Blvd. The event raises awareness and funds for traumatic brain injury care and recovery in the community. Distances offered include:

• 5K
• 1 Mile

Race packet pick-up is available at the Dune House Hotel & Spa on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24 and 25, and on race day in the Junior Ballroom. All participants receive a finisher medal and a reusable water cup. The awards ceremony takes place at the main stage following the 1 Mile Fun Run and walk. The event also includes a costume contest, recognition for the highest fundraiser, team awards including largest team, and age-group awards for overall, masters (over 40), grand-masters (over 50), and top three finishers in multiple age categories.

Proceeds support UF Health Jacksonville programs for people with brain injuries. Past uses of funds include housing and transportation for more than 100 patients, support for 44 patients in an equine therapy program, purchase of diagnostic and treatment equipment such as a Transcranial Doppler and an intracranial ultrasound, staff training, video laryngoscopes, educational outreach, and short-term support at a brain injury clubhouse program.
