UF Health Jacksonville Turkey Trot 5K : Atlantic Beach, FL
UF Health Jacksonville's 12th Annual Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day event on November 26, 2026 in Atlantic Beach, Florida, held at the Dune House Hotel & Spa (1 Ocean Blvd). The event raises funds and awareness for traumatic brain injury (TBI) care and related programs in the UF Health Jacksonville community and region.

Registration supports a range of programs and equipment purchases described by the organizer. Past proceeds have funded housing and transportation for over 100 Brain Wellness Program patients, supported 44 participants in an equine therapy program, and helped purchase medical equipment such as a Transcranial Doppler and an Intracranial Ultrasound. Funds have also supported staff training, TBI education efforts, video laryngoscopes, and short-term membership support at a Brain Injury Clubhouse.
Logistics noted by the organizer include packet pick-up at the Dune House Hotel & Spa on the days before the event and on race morning in the Junior Ballroom. All participants receive a finisher medal and a reusable water cup. The event features awards including overall, masters, grand-masters, age-group prizes, team awards, a highest fundraiser award, and a costume contest.
