Psych Ed Connections Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot
The 11th Annual Psych Ed Connections Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot takes place in the Nocatee community of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on November 26, 2026. The event begins at the Splash/Spray park, follows streets through Nocatee neighborhoods and finishes along the wooded Greenway trail. The day includes a separate kids run and both a 5K and 10K option.
Distances:
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- 10K - 6.2 miles
- Kids Fun Run - 1K
The 10K course is two laps of the 5K route. The Kids Fun Run is for children 12 and under; parents may run with small children. Every child in the Fun Run receives a finisher’s medal and goodies provided by the event benefactor, Holly's Hope.
Each 5K and 10K finisher will receive a t-shirt, a medal and a race swag bag. Awards are given for overall top three women and men in both the 5K and 10K, plus 1st through 3rd place in age groups. Age groups for male and female are: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
Proceeds from the events benefit the St. Johns charity Holly's Hope. Pre-race packet pick-up is available at the YMCA at Nocatee, 400 Colonnade Drive. The event location is the Nocatee Splash parking lot, 245 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra Beach FL 32081. The event is held rain or shine and refunds are not offered. Registration opens July 6, 2026; listed fees are $45 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
