Event overview
The Waves 2 Wine 5K takes place on May 16, 2026, in the Gulf Breeze / Pensacola Beach area. The event includes a 5k run and a 5k walk. It is a point-to-point course that starts at the Gulf Breeze Rec Center, passes through neighborhoods and over the Bob Sikes Bridge, and finishes at the Sandshaker at 731 Pensacola Beach Blvd, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561. A post-race party and refreshments, including free beer and wine at the Sandshaker, follow the finish.

Registration for each event is listed at $29. Packet pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Pensacola on Friday, May 15, and at the Sandshaker/Pensacola Beach on race morning. The first 200 registrants will receive a custom fully sublimated long-sleeve island tech shirt; other registrants will receive a shirt but sizes are not guaranteed. All runners and walkers receive a finisher medal. Age-group awards are offered for runners in 5-year increments and for walkers in 10-year increments.
