Event Details
The Waves 2 Wine 5K takes place in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach. The event offers a 5k Run and a 5k Walk. It is the first race in the Run the Coast Summer Series.
Course
The course is a point-to-point route. It starts in the neighborhoods of Gulf Breeze and goes over the Bob Sikes Bridge, finishing at the SandShaker.
Participant Perks
All runners and walkers receive a finisher's medal. The first 200 registrants receive a custom long-sleeve shirt. Age group awards are given in 5-year increments for runners and 10-year increments for walkers.
Post-Race
After the race, there are free refreshments, beer, and wine at the SandShaker. A DJ will provide music.
Practical Information
Packet pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Pensacola on the Friday before the race and at Sandshaker/Pensacola Beach on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
