Waves 2 Wine 5K
Waves 2 Wine 5K is a point-to-point run and competitive walk on May 15, 2027 in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach, Florida. The course starts in Gulf Breeze neighborhoods, crosses the Bob Sikes Bridge, and finishes at the SandShaker on Pensacola Beach.
Two event options are listed:
- 3.1 miles (5K) run
- 3.1 miles (5K) walk
Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are available on the Friday before the event at Fleet Feet Pensacola. Race morning packet pick-up and late registration are available at the SandShaker at Pensacola Beach. Buses will transport participants from the finish area at the SandShaker to the start point at the Gulf Breeze Community Center; no transportation will be provided to carry finishers back to the start.
The first 200 registrants receive a custom fully sublimated long sleeve island tech shirt; other participants will receive a shirt but sizes are not guaranteed. All runners and walkers receive a finisher medal. Age group awards are given for runners in five-year increments and for walkers in ten-year increments.
Post-finish refreshments at the SandShaker include free beer, wine, and other refreshments. A DJ from FM 93 BLX Mobile is scheduled to perform at the finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
