Event
The Waves 2 Wine 5K takes place on May 16, 2026 in Pensacola Beach, Florida. The event is the third annual running of this race. It is a point-to-point 5K offering both a run and a competitive walk. The finish location is the Sandshaker at 731 Pensacola Beach Blvd, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561.
Course
The course starts at the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center and passes through neighborhoods of Gulf Breeze. The route goes over the Bob Sikes Bridge and finishes at the Sandshaker in Pensacola Beach.
Entry and categories
Listed entry options include a runner category and a walker category. The published price for both categories is $29.
Amenities and awards
The event includes refreshments, with free beer and wine available at the Sandshaker. All finishers will receive a finisher medal. The first 200 registrants receive a custom fully sublimated long-sleeve island tech shirt; other registrants will receive a shirt but sizes are not guaranteed. Age group awards are given for runners in 5-year age groups and for walkers in 10-year age groups.
