Pensacola Turkey Trot 5k
The Pensacola Turkey Trot 5k takes place on Thanksgiving Day in downtown Pensacola, Florida. Participants can choose between two main categories:
- 5k Run
- 5k Walk
The course starts and finishes in front of Seville Square. Participants follow a route through the central area of the city. Street parking is available near the site, though city parking regulations apply. Participants who cannot attend may transfer their entry up to two weeks before the event date.
Packet pickup is organized on two separate days. Runners can collect their materials the evening before the race at Running Wild or on the morning of the event at Seville Square.
A post-race party is held at Seville Square following the run. Food and refreshments are provided for all participants. The awards ceremony takes place at the pavilion in the square. Accolades are presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as winners in the Masters and Grandmasters categories. Additionally, awards are given to the top three finishers in various age groups and the top three male and female walkers.
Participants are permitted to bring their own mimosas or other beverages to celebrate at the venue after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
