Vero Beach unite4answers 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk
This event at Vero Beach Regional Airport on Saturday, December 5, 2026, is organized by the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation. It includes in-person and virtual options and supports awareness, education, and research into Chiari malformation and syringomyelia. The foundation reports having funded over $6 million in projects and reached more than 3.5 million people.

Race amenities for 5K participants include race t-shirts, finisher medals, professional race timing, and an awards ceremony with age-group and overall awards. The 1 Mile Walk is untimed, donation based, and does not include a medal or 5K t-shirt unless the participant registers for the 5K. Participants who raise or donate at least $50 are eligible to receive a unite4answers t-shirt.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes December 4, 2026. Fees listed include a $35 5K adult registration and a $25 child 5K rate through the registration close date; the 1 Mile Walk is donation based. Early packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, December 4, 2026 at American Icon Brewery. An awards ceremony follows the race on event day.
