Tactical 10K & 2 Mile
The Vero Beach Police Department Foundation Tactical 10K & 2 Mile is a community running event held on 11/21/2026 at South Beach Park in Vero Beach, FL 32963. The event presents two measured race distances:

- 2 Mile
Proceeds support the Vero Beach Police Department Foundation and fund equipment and resources for the Vero Beach Police Department and its Critical Response Team. The event includes a Dri Fit race shirt guaranteed to the first 100 paid registrants and professional timing on a scenic, flat beachside course. Awards are presented immediately following the races.
Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday at Runners Depot in Vero Beach from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional race morning procedures are noted by the organizer.
Awards for the 10K include overall male and female champions and the top three finishers in each five year age group from 14 and under through 70 and over. Awards for the 2 Mile include overall male and female champions and the top three finishers in each ten year age group from 14 and under through 70 and over.
A charity raffle follows the awards. Raffle tickets are priced at two dollars each or six tickets for ten dollars and winners must be present to claim prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
