Girls on the Run Treasure Coast 5K Celebration
The Girls on the Run Treasure Coast 5K Celebration is an end of season event held on November 21, 2026 at the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie located at Westside Church in Ft. Pierce, FL. The event features a 5K course (3.1 miles) that serves as the season finale for program teams and participants.
Program participants do not need to register separately. Every registered GOTR and Heart and Sole participant who completes the 5K receives a commemorative medal. Family members, community participants and running buddies may join but must register; running buddies are adults or designated individuals who accompany a participant for the full course. Registered running buddies aged 16 and older, community participants, youth 15 and under, and GOTRTC alumnae have specific registration prices, and same day registration is limited with no guarantee of a T shirt.
Event operations include participant bib assignment for safety, adult supervision requirements, course monitoring and attendance checks on arrival. The course is accessible for people with disabilities and designated parking spots are available. All registrations include a liability waiver. The event also offers vendors, merchandise, inspiration stations and post run refreshments for certain participant categories. Volunteers support set up, check in, course marshaling, water and refreshment assistance; volunteers who work closely with participants require a background check.
