Event Overview
The Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a local running event held at Lakewood Park Regional Park in Fort Pierce, Florida. The event offers three different race distances on an asphalt surface, with the start line situated near the park's tennis courts. Facilities including bathrooms are available for participants in the pavilion neighboring the starting area.
Course Information
The race features an out-and-back course design with specific loops depending on the selected distance. All participants must follow a course time limit of 6 hours.
- 5K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed once.
- 10K: The 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed two times.
- Half Marathon: A 3.28-mile out-and-back course completed four times.
Participation and Awards
Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no on-site registration available. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the race starts near the event site. Participants have the opportunity to earn series points and awards. All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective distances.
