HALO’s Chase Your Tail 5K Run/Walk - Sebastian, FL
The 9th Annual HALO’s Chase Your Tail 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for April 18, 2026, at the Sebastian Community Center in Sebastian, Florida. The event includes two entries: an Individual 5K Run/Walk and a Pack 5K Run/Walk. The course travels along the Indian River.
The event raises awareness for no-kill animal rescue and permits participants to run or walk with their dogs. Music and entertainment are provided before and after the race, and an on-site breakfast bar is available for participants.
Early packet pickup and registration are offered the day before the race at the H.A.L.O. Adoption Center at the Indian River Mall (6200 20th St, Vero Beach, FL). Participants who registered before race day may pick up shirts at packet pickup or on race day. New registrations on race day will not receive shirts.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female, the top three finishers in each age group, the top dog (fastest person running with a dog), and the fastest pack. The fastest pack must be co-ed and include four or more people. Entry fees are listed as $35 before race day and $40 on race day, with a team discount available when four or more people register together.
