Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Duval County takes place at Ed Austin Regional Park in Jacksonville, Florida. This running event features three distinct distances and is situated near the local skatepark. Participants must complete their registration through the designated online portal, as there is no registration available at the race location on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted on-site shortly before the scheduled start.
Course Details
The race is held on a surface consisting of asphalt and concrete. Approximately half of the course area is shaded. Runners navigate an out-and-back loop system to complete their respective distances. For participants driving to the event, overflow parking is available at the rear of the park near the soccer fields.
Available distances include:
- 5K: An out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles completed two times.
- 10K: The same out-and-back route completed four times.
- 13.1 Miles: A specific out-and-back loop measuring 2.18 miles completed six times.
Event Regulations
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. All finishers receive a themed medal. The event may occur simultaneously with other organized runs in the park; participants should look for the US Road Running setup specifically located next to the skatepark to ensure they are on the correct course.
