Beats at The Block 5K and Fun Run
Beats at The Block is an evening running event at The Block in Jacksonville, Florida featuring multiple short-course options and a post-event celebration. The program includes a music-led 5K, a pet friendly 1 mile fun run, and a short Car to Bar route that returns participants to The Block for event finish-line activities.

The 5K and 1 mile courses are described as flat and fast and follow Gate Parkway before returning to The Block for a finish-line celebration. A DJ provides music along the course. Event entries include race shirts, finisher hats (the 5K offers a Top 10% or Bottom 90% finisher hat distinction), a complimentary beer or PIVOT energy drink, and race swag. Each entry also receives one raffle ticket for a drawing of two Food and Wine Festival tickets valued at $200; the winner will be announced during the event and must be present to win.
The event includes a post-race atmosphere with music, food, beverages, and additional activities noted by the organizer. Proceeds are designated to benefit the American Cancer Society and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign in Jacksonville.
