Ultimate Tri - Beachwalk
The 11th Annual Ultimate Tri takes place at the Beachwalk Community in St Johns, Florida on October 25, 2026. The course uses a lagoon surrounded by sandy beaches and includes swim, bike and run segments. Participants receive a shirt, a medal, snacks and drinks.
- Swim: 1/4 mile in the lagoon
- Bike: 8 miles
- Run: 3.1 miles
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the race venue in the transition area. Athletes must be body marked on the side of the left arm and the back of the left calf; markings may be self-applied or done prior to entering the transition area. A mandatory pre-race meeting will be held at the beach.
The transition area is marked and uses assigned bike racks. There is no overnight bike storage at the venue. Only the participant may remove their bike from the transition area. One rack is designated for fat tire bikes.
The swim exits to a rinse station; wetsuits are permitted if the lagoon temperature is 78 degrees or less. On the bike course participants must not draft, must wear hard shell helmets that are fastened before leaving transition, and must avoid headphones or earphones. The bike course is open to traffic and may be subject to change due to construction. Runners must display their race number on the front at the finish; aid stations are located at the run start, the 1.5 mile mark and the finish. Volunteers are positioned along the course but competitors are responsible for knowing the course.
Award presentations will be held onsite and recipients must be present or arrange pickup. There are no refunds for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
