Veterans United Brewing Boos and Brews 5k Race / 1 mile fun run
The event takes place in Jacksonville at Veterans United Brewing on October 24, 2026. The organizer lists two event options and course format details.
- Boos and Brews 3 Miler, three loops of the 1 mile loop
- Boos and Brews 1 mile walk
The 3 mile event is run as three laps of the 1 mile loop with splits provided each mile. The race is chip timed by Florida Race Day LLC and results are posted live on FloridaRaceDay.com. Awards for the 5k race are given by age and gender in these groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.
Additional event features include a Halloween costume contest with audience participation, a glow in the dark finisher medal for finishers, free Veterans United Brewing draft beer, and race shirts while supplies last. Packet pick up is held on race day. There is an option to form four-person race teams; the fastest and slowest teams receive awards and all team members receive an additional award.
