Veterans United Brewing Boos and Brews 5k Race / 1 mile fun run
The event takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Veterans United Brewing in Jacksonville, FL. It is presented as a combined running and walking event with multiple distance options and a Halloween theme.

The 3 mile event consists of three loops of a 1 mile loop, with split times provided for each mile. Packet pick up is held on race day. There is a Halloween costume contest with audience participation.
Participants receive a Veterans United Brewing draft beer, a glow in the dark finisher medal, and race shirts while supplies last. The event is chip timed and includes awards. The 5k awards are given by age and gender in the following groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Results are posted live by the timing organization Florida Race Day.
There is an option to form a race team of four 5k racers; the fastest and slowest teams receive awards and all team members receive an additional team award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
