Rock the Run 5K and 2-Miler
The Rock the Run 5K and 2-Miler is a Rock & Roll themed sports event held at the Coconut Point Mall in Estero, Florida. This event serves as a fundraiser for head and neck cancer awareness, with proceeds supporting local cancer screenings, education, and financial assistance for patients in Southwest Florida. The course is characterized as a flat and scenic route that begins and ends at the mall.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- Rock the Run 5K
- Rock the Run 2 Mile Walk
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 2 Mile Walk
The in-person 5K event is chip-timed, and awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, age group awards are available for the top three male and female participants in categories ranging from ages 0-9 to 70 and above. Registered participants receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a custom finisher medal.
The event atmosphere features live music and cheering crowds throughout the course. For those attending in person, free parking is available on-site at the Coconut Point Mall at 23106 Fashion Drive.
