Event overview
The NIMRA Run For Rescue Trail Race takes place at Tollymore Forest Park on 6 December 2025. It is a hilly trail race with a route of approximately 10 km. The course will be marked and marshalled for competitors. Registration for the event is closed and the entry list shows 180 participants.
Organisation and other details
The event is organised by the Northern Ireland Mountain Running Association. Entry on the day is a voluntary donation to Mourne Mountain Rescue. Mourne Mountain Rescue is a voluntary organisation that responds to people injured or in danger in the Mourne Mountains and provides public education about safety and rescue. A NIMRA 2025 championship prize giving is scheduled to take place after the race, and a small number of spot prizes may be awarded. The minimum age for entry is 17 or older.
