Maine Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay : Portland Maine
The Maine Community Bank Maine Marathon is a set of in-person and virtual road races based in Portland, Maine. The in-person events take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, along Baxter Boulevard and the Back Cove area. Virtual events are open from September 26 through October 12, 2026.
All three in-person races use an out-and-back course with rolling hills and views of the Portland skyline, Back Cove, Casco Bay, and peak fall foliage. The marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified. The marathon is listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The relay covers a marathon distance and accepts 2 to 4 person teams.
The event is organized by the Maine Track Club and lists Maine Community Bank as title sponsor.
