Ugly Sweater 5K and Merry Mile
This event in Falmouth on December 5, 2026 includes an in-person road 5K and a one mile pedestrian Merry Mile, plus virtual options for both distances.

The venue is at the American Legion on Depot Road across from the Falmouth Memorial Library. Bib pick-up and race day registration are in a tent next to the American Legion. Parking is available in the local area, including beside the baseball fields, with limited parking at the American Legion and the library. Depot Road intersects U.S. Route 1 and the closest exit from Route 295 is Exit 10.
The 5K course follows Depot Road to U.S. Route 1, continues south on Route 1 to Route 88, proceeds north to Old Mill, then uses Edgewater, Anderson and Ridgeway before returning to Route 88 and Depot Road. The start and finish are on Depot Road in front of the American Legion. The Merry Mile follows Depot Road and the U.S. Route 1 sidewalk back to the finish and is not timed.
Registration fees are listed for in-person and virtual entries. First place male, female and nonbinary 5K finishers will receive medals, and first place finishers in each 10 year age group will receive medals. Families of three or more receive a five dollar discount per participant. The event includes voting for ugliest and most original outfits, a free raffle and post event refreshments.
