Portland Thanksgiving Day 4 Miler
The Portland Thanksgiving Day event is a recurring running event held in Portland, Maine on 11/26/2026. The main event is a certified four mile course made up of two loops that passes through Portland's Historic Old Port and Downtown districts. The Kid's K covers 0.62 miles, begins at Monument Square, goes to the Court House and returns to finish in front of City Hall.
The event is organized entirely by volunteers. Net proceeds benefit Partners for World Health, Portland Trails, St. Patrick's Secondary School in Iten, Kenya, and various area non-profits. A food drive, in its 41st year, will collect non-perishable items on race day to benefit Project Feed, an area emergency food pantry.
Additional factual details include event location at 284 Cumberland Avenue, Portland, ME 04101, and separate entries for the adult and youth distances. Registration details and fees are published for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
