Maine Lobster Festival Road Race, Fun Run and Walk
The Road Race, Fun Run and Walk is part of the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland. The event includes timed road races and a separate untimed kids run that take place on streets in Rockland. More than 300 runners compete in the 10K and 5K races.
Distances offered:
- 10K road race, timed
- 5K run or walk, timed for runners
- 1 mile kids fun run, untimed for ages up to 12
Both the 10K and 5K races are timed. Walkers are permitted for the 5K only. The first 300 participants to pick up their race packet receive a t shirt and all finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are presented to top finishers in multiple age categories and the kids fun run awards top overall male and female winners; the first 75 kids to cross the finish line receive a finisher medal.
Registration details are provided for advance and in person entry; fees are non refundable and non transferable. Registration for the main races and the kids run opens June 1.
