Blueberry Cove Half Marathon
The Blueberry Cove Half Marathon takes place on August 29, 2027 at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp in Tenants Harbor, Maine. The event is the 16th annual running of a 13.1-mile route around the lower St. George peninsula and serves as a fundraiser for UMaine Cooperative Extension 4-H Camp & Learning Centers at Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove. Registration is $100, registration is capped at 250 participants, race fees are non-refundable, and online registration opens through Active beginning in September. No race day registration is offered.
The course follows rural back roads and coastal stretches, with ocean views near Port Clyde, passage by Marshall Point Light, and sections along Drift Inn Beach. Race features include mile markers for all 13 miles, hydration stations approximately every two miles, finish times, a post-race brunch, and finisher medals for all participants. Awards are presented to first-place male and female overall and in age divisions (18 & under; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 plus). Walkers are permitted and are not timed. Bathroom facilities are provided at the start and finish with additional porta-potty locations along the route; limited shower facilities are available at the camp.
