Zay Strong Fun Run and Walk
The Zay Strong Fun Run and Walk is a fundraiser at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, Maine, benefiting patients and families of Boston Children’s Hospital. The event is presented in loving memory of an individual and raises funds for the hospital.
Participants may choose among the following options:
- 1 mile untimed walk on the nature trail
- 5K trail race on the same course
- 5K virtual run or walk for remote participants
The on-site route is a 1 mile loop that combines stone dust trail and grassy field. Prizes are planned for the 5K field and raffles will be held for walkers. Registration has a fee of $20. All race proceeds and donations collected through race registration will be added to the organizer’s official fundraising page for Boston Children’s Hospital after the event.
