Event Overview
The Light up the Night Glow Run is an annual event held in the East Hill neighborhood of Pensacola, Florida. Now in its third year, the event takes place at Bayview Park and serves as a benefit to raise awareness for efforts to end human trafficking.
Distances and Course
The event includes the following distances:
- 3 miles (5k) run
- 1 mile walk
The route features various glow-in-the-dark elements to illuminate the path for participants. The course starts and finishes at Bayview Park, which also hosts an after-party following the activities.
Participant Information
This event is open to participants of all ages, and pets are also permitted to attend. Those registered receive a run t-shirt during packet pick-up and a swag bag that contains glow bracelets. Participants are encouraged to incorporate glowing items into their attire, such as LED clothing, glowing leashes for pets, or lights for strollers.
Registration and Sponsorship
The registration fee is set at a base price of $25.00 during early registration periods in September, October, and November. Starting December 1, the price increases to $40.00. Businesses and organizations have the opportunity to sponsor the run, which includes the placement of their logo on the back of the official event t-shirts.
