Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Lakewood Park Regional Park in Fort Pierce, Florida, offers a selection of road races on an asphalt surface. Participants can choose between three different distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The event is held at Lakewood Park, with the starting line situated near the tennis courts. Facilities include bathrooms located in the pavilion adjacent to the start. All participants must register online in advance, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted on-site shortly before the race begins.
Course Details
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes. For the 5K and 10K, the course uses a 1.56-mile segment, completing the out-and-back once for the 5K and twice for the 10K. The Half Marathon utilizes a 1.64-mile segment, requiring the out-and-back loop to be completed four times. A total course time limit of six hours is in place for all participants.
