Event details
The Medal Madness event at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, FL includes 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The race is organized by US Road Running. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, awards, series points, and a best costume category are part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The courses are on asphalt. Bathrooms are located by the starting line. Participants are advised to park by the baseball fields at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.

Course format details: the 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that segment two times and the 10K repeats it four times.
