Twins Tot Walk/Run 5K
The event takes place at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL, and brings together a timed 5K run/walk, a Vigil Walk, and virtual participation options to raise funds and awareness for Just Against Children Drowning. The in-person 5K is chip timed by Beach Bum Timing. Dogs on leash and strollers are allowed and will start toward the back for safety.
Participation options and registration details are provided for each entry type. Entry fees listed by the organizer include a 5K run/walk fee of $25.00, a Vigil Walk fee of $27.00, a virtual 5K fee of $37.50, and a virtual Vigil Walk fee of $32.50. Virtual entries receive mailed items such as a shirt and finisher medal and may submit their time through the event sign up site on the same day as the live race. Registering by February 15, 2027 guarantees a race shirt.
Additional event elements include a Vigil Walk as a reflective tribute, raffle prizes sold on race day, finish-line snacks, Pancakes and Sausage from IHOP, and awards for overall, masters categories, veterans grandmaster, and age-group 1st-3rd places across age divisions from under 6 through 75 plus.
