Color Hop 5k Run/Walk and Bunny Trail Egg Walk
The Color Hop event takes place on April 4, 2026 at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, Florida. It combines a spring-themed color 5k around the park with shorter family-focused activities and a dog jog.
The 5k course passes through three spring-themed color blast stations; participants are encouraged to wear white for best color effect. The event offers timed 5k entries as well as an untimed 5k walk. The color powder is described as food grade.
The Bunny Trail Egg Walk is a short loop for young children and includes color stations and an egg hunt along the path. Children who complete the loop receive a souvenir medal. The event listings note an age limit for this activity.
Proceeds from the event benefit Girls on the Run SWFL and Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity. Course services and timing are provided by Beach Bum Timing. The event program also includes a separate Dog Jog 5k.
