Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on March 14, 2026, in Punta Gorda, Florida, at South County Regional Park (670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race start. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards as part of the organiser's offerings.
Course and logistics
All courses are asphalt. Parking is available by the baseball fields. Bathrooms are located by the starting line. The event uses out-and-back course layouts:
- The 5K and 10K use a 0.78-mile one-way segment. The 5K repeats that segment two times; the 10K repeats it four times.
- The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile one-way segment. The out-and-back is 2.18 miles and it is repeated six times for the half marathon distance.
