Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon at Punta Gorda
This event takes place at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, FL. The program includes three distances and is organized as a series of out and back loops on an asphalt course. Parking is available by the baseball fields and bathrooms are located by the starting line.

Organizers describe the 5K and 10K using a 0.78 mile segment that forms a 1.56 mile out and back. The 5K completes that out and back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment that forms a 2.18 mile out and back, completed six times for the full distance.
Additional practical information includes a packet pickup period that opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start, and a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All participants must register online through the listed registration system; there is no on site registration.
