Event Overview

The Medal Madness event offers three race distances on a single day in Venice, Florida. The races take place at Shamrock Park.

Distances and Course

Participants can choose from three distances:

5K
10K
Half Marathon

All courses are out-and-back routes on a mix of concrete and asphalt surfaces. The 5K and 10K share a 3.11-mile out-and-back segment. The 5K completes this segment once, while the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon course is a 3.28-mile out-and-back segment, which is completed four times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Venue and Logistics

The start line is located on the path behind the Nature Center at Shamrock Park. Bathrooms are available inside the Nature Center. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start. Registration is required in advance via RunSignup; no on-site registration is available.
