FCA 5K - Venice
The event takes place April 10, 2027 at Venice High School, 1 Indian Ave, Venice FL 34285. It includes in-person and virtual options and a short children’s fun race.
Distances
- 5K (3.1 miles) chip timed in-person race.
- 400 meter dinosaur fun race for ages 4 to 9, free with registration.
- Virtual 5K with mailed shirt and medal; higher fee for shipping.
Race items and prizes include a custom FCA 5K finisher medal for all 5K finishers, a custom race bib, and placement prizes for male and female competitors by five-year age groups from 9 and under up to 80 and above. Overall male and female winners and masters categories are listed.
Shirts are unisex short-sleeve 60/40 by default. An upgrade to a custom dry fit or ladies' tank is available for an additional $15, subject to availability. Shirt orders are not guaranteed after March 28.
Packet pickup is available on April 8 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at New Balance Sarasota, 1872 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota 34231, and the morning of the event from 6:30am to 7:15am. Coffee service will be available before and after the race. Ice cream is provided for winners and other participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
