FCA 5K : Event overview
The FCA 5K is scheduled for April 11, 2026 at Venice High School, 1 Indian Ave, Venice, FL 34285. The event includes an in-person 5K, a 400 meter "Dino Race" for young children, and a Virtual 5K. The in-person 5K is chip-timed and uses a gun-start. Finisher medals are provided for all 5K finishers. A course map is made available by the organizers.

Pricing listed on the event page: the in-person 5K has a listed fee and a reduced youth price for ages 0–18; the Dino Race is free; the Virtual 5K has a higher listed fee, reflecting mailing of shirts and medals to virtual participants. Race swag for the 5K includes a custom finisher medal, race bib, and a unisex short-sleeve 60/40 shirt; upgrades to a dry-fit shirt or ladies' tank are offered for an additional $15. Shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after March 28. There is an opportunity for children aged about 4–9 to run the free 400 meter fun race. Placement prizes are awarded by five-year age groups and overall categories. Packet pickup is available at New Balance Sarasota, 1872 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota 34231, and also on the morning of the event at the venue.
