US Road Running - Venice
The US Road Running event in Venice, Florida, takes place at Shamrock Park. Participants navigate a course that begins on the path behind the Nature Center, passing through the park's grounds. The terrain consists of a mixture of concrete and asphalt surfaces.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 5K: An out-and-back route completed one time.
- 10K: The out-and-back route completed two times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back route completed four times.
For the 5K and 10K, the course is structured as a 3.11-mile out-and-back. The Half Marathon utilizes a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop. All participants must follow a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their respective distances.
Registration is managed exclusively via an online platform as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start. Facilities, including bathrooms, are available at the park's Nature Center. Finishers receive a medal for their participation, and runners are encouraged to participate in a pirate-themed atmosphere.
