Event overview
The Pirate 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on April 4, 2026, at Shamrock Park in Venice, Florida (3900 Shamrock Dr, Venice, FL 34293). The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, shirts, a gear shop, awards, series points, and a best costume option are noted as part of the event offerings.
Course and logistics
The start is located on the path behind the Nature Center; participants pass through the Nature Center. The surface is a mix of concrete and asphalt. Bathrooms are located in the Nature Center.
Course layouts as provided:
- 5K & 10K: one-way length listed as 1.56 miles; the out-and-back is 3.11 miles. The 5K uses the out-and-back once; the 10K uses it twice.
- Half Marathon: one-way length listed as 1.64 miles; the out-and-back is 3.28 miles. The Half Marathon uses the out-and-back four times.
