US Road Running - DeLand
US Road Running organizes a race event in DeLand, Florida, featuring three distinct distances for participants to choose from. The event takes place at 2100 Fatio Rd and includes options for varied experience levels.
Participants can select from the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The courses are designed as out-and-back loops. For the 5K and 10K, the route utilizes a 1.56-mile out-and-back course. Runners in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a separate 2.18-mile out-and-back course, which participants must complete six times to reach the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Registration must be completed online in advance, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site shortly before the start.
Parking at the immediate start location is limited. Additional overflow parking is available approximately 0.50 miles away from the starting line. All finishers receive a medal upon completing their respective distances. The event also features a best costume competition and participants can earn points toward a larger race series.
