Event Overview
The Medal Madness event takes place at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All three races share the same start location.
Location and Logistics
The start and finish, as well as bib pick-up, are located at the O.K. Corral shelter within the park. Participants should enter the park from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign, and park in the West Parking loop. If this lot is full, signs direct to East Parking. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of the West Parking area from the shelter.
Course Details
The course is a concrete path. Both the 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment (3.11 miles total). The 5K completes this segment once. The 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate 1.64-mile out-and-back segment (3.28 miles total), which it completes four times. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration
