Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon in DeBary, FL
The event features three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Courses are on concrete surfaces and use out-and-back segments. The 5K follows a single out-and-back of about 3.11 miles, the 10K repeats that out-and-back twice, and the half marathon follows a longer out-and-back repeated four times to total the 13.1 mile distance. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Access to Gemini Springs Park is from Dirksen Drive. Participants and spectators are directed to park in the West Parking loop; signs indicate East Parking if West Parking is full. US Road Running check-in and bib pickup and the start and finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are on the opposite side of West Parking beyond the playground. Packet pickup is organized before the race and no on site registration is available. All runners must register on RunSignup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
