US Road Running - DeLand
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a competitive running event held in DeLand, Florida. The event takes place at 2100 Fatio Rd and offers three different distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners participating in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a separate 2.18-mile out-and-back course, which participants must complete six times to finish the race. A total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances.
Registration must be completed in advance through RunSignup as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the race location shortly before the start. All finishers receive a medal for completing their designated distance.
Parking is available at the start location but is limited. There is additional overflow parking located 0.50 miles away from the main site. The event also features a costume competition, and participants can earn points as part of the US Road Running series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
